FACILITATION AND COACHING
Our founder Rafael Montero offers individual and group coaching in singing and performance of the Hispanic and Latin American repertoire, especially baroque and romantic music, including language coaching in old high Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Indigenous languages such as Quichua, Guarani, Aymara, and the performance style of Latin American Baroque. With pianist and conductor John Sloboda, he also leads choral workshops for amateur and semi-professional singers and players.

2026 Choral workshops for UK Early Music Forums
Day workshops for the Border Marches Early Music Forum (BMEMF), Hereford; and the Eastern Early Music Forum (EEMF), Cambridge. These wokshops introduced singers and players to the diverse repertoires of Latin American choral music from the 16th to the 19th centuries, including works in Indigenous languages and written by indigenous composers.

2023 Concerto Cologne “Roots” project,
Rautenstrauch Museum, Bolivian Baroque music. Provided musical materials and advice for their “South American Roots” project. Led workshops at Baadenberger Str. community secondary school in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, teaching students of different natioanalities South American dances and baroque vocal music. Led an advanced dance course at the Essen-Werden high school

2023 Fairplay Project, Germany
Part of facilitation team at Fairplay (Dr. Nepomuk Riva, ethnomusicologist, Berlin and Dr. Yongfei Du, ethnomusicologist and music teacher at the Music Education HMTM Hannover), delivering courese on culturally sensitive handling in children’s music. including taclking racism in children's song books. Introducing Guarani dances as well as indigenous songs from the Qom with body percussion and singing. Four-part baroque works in the Quichua language.
